We are an independent company located near the Humber Estuary in the village of Barrow Upon Humber UK. This was the home of the famous clockmaker, John Harrison (1693-1776), who won the Admiralty Longitude Prize for his H4 sea-watch in 1765, the watch is now in the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
Two hundred and fifty years later, we find ourselves treading the same ground, specialising in tidal prediction and hydrography, providing applications and consultancy services to maritime organizations world-wide.
In Safety of Navigation, we have developed compatible electronic chart overlays, distributed by the Sea Fish Industry Authority UK, which are used by fishing vessels to avoid offshore Oil and Gas UK subsea infrastructure. We also managed the development of FishSAFE, a warning device manufactured by Jeppesen (C-Map) for fishing vessels, on behalf of FLTC.
In tidal analysis and prediction, our product GeoTide is in worldwide use. Our broad base of clients range from shipping, environmental and government agencies, harbour and port authorities, offshore survey, fishing, offshore oil & gas, and hydrographic offices.
In consulting and solutions development, our fifteen years experience and know-how will enable you to rapidly achieve your objectives, without you having to climb a steep learning curve or having to embark upon the time consuming task of developing costly in-house solutions.
We strive to provide technical excellence in all stages of a project, including appraisal, feasibility, management and design.
